Thomas Reddington is director of the NYU Cybersecurity Program and Industry Professor of Computer Science at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. A 26-year veteran of Bell Laboratories with advanced degrees in physics from the University of Pittsburgh, Reddington teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in network security, foundations of telecommunications, and principles of programming languages. As director of the Cybersecurity Program, he oversees program development, certificate assessments, student advising, and outreach. At Bell Labs, Reddington held several management research positions, including director of security research and director of Internet research, and was designated as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff for more than a dozen years. He holds three patents and has contributed to multiple journal articles.
